The short version: Use Stuffolio responsibly. Your data is yours. The app is provided "as is."

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Stuffolio, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 13 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Stuffolio is a personal inventory management application that allows you to:

• Track and organize your personal belongings
• Store warranty information and purchase records
• Attach photos and documents to items
• Sync data across devices using iCloud (optional)
• Use AI features for product research (optional, subject to trial quotas detailed at support.html#trial-faq, then subscription tiers as described in the app)
• Export your inventory data in various formats

3. User Accounts and Data

Your Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Stuffolio, including product names, descriptions, photos, receipts, documents, warranty information, and notes.

Data Storage

Your data is stored locally on your device by default. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is also stored in your personal iCloud account, subject to Apple's terms of service.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your important data, keeping your device and iCloud account secure, and ensuring the accuracy of information you enter.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Stuffolio to:

• Store illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Use the AI features at a volume substantially exceeding typical personal use (including via automated systems or scripted requests)
• Circumvent any security measures or usage limits

5. AI Features (When You Ask)

Stuffolio includes AI features such as Stuff Scout and the AI Product Assistant. These features are user-initiated and non-ambient — nothing is analyzed or sent to external services unless you explicitly ask for help. By using these features:

• You understand that AI responses are informational and may not be 100% accurate
• You agree not to rely solely on AI for important decisions (insurance claims, valuations, etc.)
• You acknowledge that images and queries are processed by third-party AI services
• You accept that AI features require an internet connection and may have usage limits

AI Feature Access. AI features (Stuff Scout, AI Assistant, Receipt & Label Scans, Repair-Keep-Replace alternatives) include a free trial quota at install. The trial ends when you reach the per-feature cap or 7 days after install, whichever comes first. After that, Stuff Scout remains available with one free item per month; the other AI features require an optional subscription ($2.99/month or $19.99/year). Subscribers receive unlimited use of all four AI features within fair-use bounds — bounds designed to be far above any normal usage pattern. The specific quotas and the fair-use display are documented in the app and may be updated to reflect operational costs; we will notify you in the app of any changes.

6. Intellectual Property

Stuffolio, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Coffee & Code LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Third-Party Services

Stuffolio integrates with third-party services including:

• Apple iCloud: For data synchronization
• Sentry: For crash reporting and app stability
• AI Services: For product research features

Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service.

8. Disclaimers

No Warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coffee & Code LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or inaccurate AI-generated information.

Insurance Disclaimer

Stuffolio is not a substitute for professional insurance appraisals. Any values or estimates provided are for personal reference only.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for conduct that violates these Terms. Upon termination, your locally stored data remains on your device.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States.
